I first trained as an actor and worked in theatres across the country, with some brief appearances on TV. After 10 years, on what I thought was a short break from acting, I found myself on the other side of the camera working on Sale of the Century – not with Nicholas Parsons but another TV legend, Keith Chegwin, and discovered that I had commercial nouse as well as a creative drive.

For the next 20 years I developed and made entertainment shows for all the major channels, taking quiz and gameshows from a kernel of an idea into successful and sometimes long running series. I ran large teams and worked closely with high profile presenters encouraging both to show up fully and take ownership of their work.

My journey into coaching started with the death of my brother. Juggling a demanding career, a young family, and the guilt and recriminations attached to suicide made it clear that how I had lived was no longer working. I hovered in a pre-burnout existence for years before self-care and counselling finally resonated and I recognised the need to zero in on what fulfilled me. Creating space for those things opened up the ease I longed for.

I discovered Coaching by chance and noticed in it things from both my previous careers that have always been a powerful draw for me. From acting it is the deep curiosity around how others see the world and what effect that has on their choices and their place in it. From producing it is the championing, acknowledging and drawing forth potential. And from both it is the fun, the creativity and exploring what's possible.

Through all my work, the goal is to quieten the external noise and connect people back to themselves and their lives so they can recognise what's important to them and move forward making conscious, resonant choices.

My clients include creatives, founders, executives, and senior professionals.
